Finishing 2015 at World Number 10

So it is nearing the end of the year and it’s certainly been a good 12months, I can’t believe 2016 is around the corner.

It feels like it was only yesterday I was preparing for my first Paralympics, now I’m less than a year out from hopefully my second. The last few months have been tough, especially health wise, the constant travel has taken its toll but it’s been worth every second. I am now in training block before I head to Australia for a month on the 1st January for 3 tournaments. I have just got back from two tournaments, one in Nottingham and one in Prague. A long two weeks of matches but I’m super happy with how I played reaching semis and finals in both events, helping me reach my highest ever singles ranking of World Number 10!

It’s by far been my most successful year in terms of results, playing in my first grand slam, beating players ranked in the top ten for the first time and reaching both my singles and doubles career high rankings, results of hard work and an amazing team behind me who I can’t thank enough for they’re continued support and belief in me. I can’t wait for Christmas, I absolutely love it and I am so excited to catch up with friends and family. I would like to wish my team, sponsors and supporters a great Christmas and say a massive thank you for your continued support. Bring on 2016!
